Snowbasin
Snowbasin is one of the oldest
continuously operating ski areas in the nation. Ever since the
first hearty skier schussed down our slopes in 1939, people from
all over the United States have come to enjoy our exhilarating
powder snow and majestic mountain scenery. The history of
Snowbasin and the USDA Forest Service is a story of discovery,
restoration and conservation of this unique and bountiful area
as a special place of beauty and adventure.
Our 104 designated runs make
2,820 acres of some amazing skiing and boarding available to you!
With 2,959 vertical feet in some of the most varied terrain to
be found in a resort, you should certainly find just what you
are looking for, and our wide runs ensure that you will have
plenty of elbow room.
Snowbasin Resort is conveniently located just 33 miles drive from Salt Lake City.
