Argentina

From June through September Argentina provides some of the finest world-class skiing. All the ski resorts are located in the western part of Argentina, in the heart of the Andes Mountains.

Travelling to any of these ski resorts requires a 2 or 3 hour flight from Buenos Aires and then ground transportation to the slopes, but we can tell you – it is worth the trip!

Argentina has 2 major resorts: Cerro Catedral, Bariloche and Las Lenas, Mendoza. Argentina also has almost a dozen other resorts of smaller magnitude. We have included one of these: Cerro Chapelco, a wonderful mountain for tree-skiing, challenging steep chutes, and off-piste touring.
